Your stitching is the heart of every finish. Stitched pieces are carefully mounted and laced where appropriate, with hand-sewn trim and thoughtful construction. No glue is applied to your stitching. From a simple pinkeep to a special ornament, each piece is finished with care.

A Few Helpful Details

Finishing typically takes about one month, with a limit of three pieces per customer at a time. Small pieces measure up to 5 inches, medium pieces over 5 through 7 inches, and large pieces over 7 inches. Pricing depends on the finishing style, size, and details.

Preparing Your Needlework for Finishing

Please make sure your stitched piece is clean and completely dry before sending or dropping it off for finishing. Gentle pressing is included as needed, but Heritage Cabin Co. does not wash or launder completed needlework. Any stains, discoloration, or soiling present when your piece is received may remain visible in the finished work.

Finishing Orders & Payment

Once we’ve discussed your project and agreed upon the finishing details, Heritage Cabin Co. will send an invoice for a 50% deposit. Finishing work will begin once the deposit has been received.

The remaining balance is due upon completion. Finished pieces will be available for pickup or return shipment once payment has been received in full.

For mailed-in projects, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and will be included in the final invoice.

Local Drop-Off & Pickup at Thread the Needle Stitchery

Heritage Cabin Co. is pleased to offer convenient local drop-off and pickup at Thread the Needle Stitchery (TTNS) in Greeneville, Tennessee.

If you’d prefer to deliver your needlework in person rather than ship it, you’re welcome to take advantage of this option.

Please arrange your finishing consultation and order directly with Heritage Cabin Co. before bringing your stitched pieces to TTNS. Once arrangements have been made, you may leave your needlework at the shop for finishing and return to collect it when completed.

All consultations, finishing selections, invoicing, and payments are handled directly by Heritage Cabin Co.

Thread the Needle Stitchery serves solely as a convenient drop-off and pickup location for your needlework. The shop does not handle finishing consultations, pricing, or payments.

Not local? We welcome inquiries for mailed-in finishing, too. We'll review your project, finishing preferences, and availability before providing instructions for sending your stitched work. Please wait for confirmation before mailing anything.
