Each stitched pear is carefully constructed using three fabric panels, with your needlework forming the front and two coordinating fabric panels creating the softly rounded shape. This thoughtful construction allows the stitched design to remain smooth while giving the pear its lovely dimension.
Lightweight interfacing is applied to stabilize the fabric and help maintain a smooth, beautifully finished appearance without sacrificing the pear’s gentle shape.
Decorative herringbone stitching is worked by hand along the seams bordering the stitched panel, adding a traditional needlework detail. Each pear is completed with wool felt adornments at the top for a charming finishing touch.
